Why I Write: A Journey Rooted in Story

Welcome & My Writing Journey

Stories have always been more than entertainment for me. They are roots that hold memory, wings that carry imagination, and mirrors that show us who we truly are.

I grew up listening to tales that lived in the rhythm of spoken words — griot stories, ancestral whispers, and myths that refused to fade. Those tales taught me that storytelling is not just art; it is survival, remembrance, and transformation.

This blog is my space to share fragments of that journey — poems, story excerpts, reflections, and lore. Some will come from the novels I’m writing, others will arrive as sparks of inspiration. All of them will be tied together by a simple truth: words matter because they outlast us.

If you’ve found your way here, welcome. May you find a story that stays with you.
